FOR THE GOOD OF ALL

We lost an American hero this week...

With the passing of Senator Edward Kennedy this past week America lost one of the true heroes that were in existence. It's funny how millions weeped fort pop star Michael Jackson, who apparently died because of an overdose of a drug used in anasthesia and yet many outside of Massachusetts are hardly shedding a tear over the loss of Teddy.

Diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor last year he continued to do what he could in the Senate...something most people who were given that dire diagnosis would not do. The only mistake I feel he made was endorsing Obama...I am not an Obama fan simply because he is not a progressive Democrat. He is a corporatist and I would have liked to have seen Teddy endorse real progressive candidates like Dennis Kuccinich or Mike Gravel. Had he not been given the fatal diagnosis I would have even supported him for President.

Right wing conservatives, thanks to the propaganda put out by the OxyCodon addicted Rush Limbaugh and his clones, painted Teddy as a far left wingnut.

The truth is that Senator Kennedy, especially after his brother John F. Kennedy was assassinated spent his life fighting for the little guy and equal rights for all...including gays.

When my partner's brother was still in California politics I had the pleasure of meeting Senator Kennedy and having a brief conversation with him. There was nothing phony about the man at all and you could sense that he was a sincere man with a strong drive to do what was for the good of all in America.

There are not many like him in the Congress today. Most of these bastards are just concerned with kissing the right corporate or special interest ass so they can get re-elected...and we keep electing them.

Just look at that health care bill they are trying to ram through...if you really look at it you see that it benefits hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and everyone but the little guy...and even imposes some stipulations that the ACLU will surely find objectionable.

So while Americans make a big deal out if losing an insane pop singer that was apparently addicted to prescription drugs (according to the toxicology report) we all should take pause and consider just what we lost when Ted Kennedy passed away.

Conservative Republicans hated him as a liberal- because he did the opposite of what they enjoy doing...while they look to oppress based on hare and irrational fear, Teddy strived to make sure all Americans were treated fairly and equally...a goal that still hasn't been achieved if you consider the Prop 8 vote here in California last November.

So Ted Kennedy was one of my REAL American heroes...

May you soul rest in peace Teddy...and say hi to Bobby and John for me if you will.

This is a great song from the 60's by Dion called Abraham, Martin and John

ALL GOOD PEOPLE

If you saw my Borderboys post today about my day with the plumber you would know why I think yesterday was a better day!

There I am with my arm around a cute little 19-year-old. When that picture was taken I had only known him for about 20 minutes.

While this guy was straight (although my gaydar that is quite accurate said he was at least a bit bi but played it straight cause the girlfriend was there) he still was one of the best sort of people I have met in a long time.

I had things to do in downtown San Diego and decided to walk by Petco Park where the San Diego Padres play. Since I had a day off I really didn't intend on going in and seeing a game.

The guy in the pic above, Troy, asked me if I had a cigarette and I gave him one and we talked some baseball. While he and the rest of his party went over to the ticket window I talked to another friend I saw outside the park.

After a few minutes the guy, Troy, comes over and hands me a ticket and says that he wanted to buy me a ticket because I was nice to him and I gave him a cigarette. He said he was three weeks away from going into the Marines and was from Orange County.

Not a Padre fan, but an LA Dodger fan that we, at Petco Park, usually do not enjoying seeing at the park brought the other people in the picture down just to check out the park. No he didn't spend a fortune on me- it was 2 for 1 ticket day and since there were 5 of them he has an extra ticket.

Most people would try and sell off the extra ticket but fir a cigarette this guy gave me a premium ticket fir the game.

I just wanted to mention that experience from yesterday because while today, I am dealing with some evil, selfish lying pricks that live above me there are those rare people who truly have a good soul like this guy Troy.

If I am lucky I will hear from him again before he starts boot camp.

So ya in the world of selfish pricks there are good people...you just have to find them in all the weeds.

And now I have this Yes song stuck in my head...so....

MEET MY MAN

That's my life partner Sparky...

I nicknamed him Sparky because when he gets excited about something he gets a spark in his eyes.

We have been to together for over seven years now and there is no one else in this world that I would want to be spending my life with.

It took me a long time to find someone who really was what I consider to be a soul mate. We didn't get "legally married" when it was legal here in California because it would have affected him financially but in out hearts we are just as married as the straight couple next door.

If you were following along on the Borderboys blog you know that some absolute lunatic- who still hasn't had the balls to show his face and identify who he really is accused me of a lot of things- primarily starting the blog to befriend "porn stars" so I could fuck the,

So I thought I would do a quick post here that let you all get you know more about me and my personal life...especially how we view sex and my blogging about the adult industry.

We just celebrated our seven year anniversary on June 26th this year and I cannot believe so much time has passed already. We are pretty much a low key couple but the thing that makes it special and has made it last is simply good communication.

Right from the start we had a conversation about monogamy and how that tends to fuck up a lot of relationships in the end.

The concept is nice but we both agree that after a lot of time passes, one or the other wants something different in bed. It's not because the attraction is gone..it just because well...people are human. Think about eating hamburgers every single day of your life. Sooner or later you will have a craving for something else. that happens with all committed couples straight or gay.

We came to an agreement, before we committed to live together, to maintain monogamous as a rule but if one or the other wanted something different we would do it together.

(that's Sparky last year without the goatee)

Thus far that has worked for us.

After all this time we have never had a fight over jealousy or another man. Everything I do he knows and vice-versa. We have no need to secret keep because everything is out in the open.

It works for us because we make a distinction between sex and love.

He knows I would kill for him if I have to and I have no doubts at all where his heart lies. He is the best thing that ever happened in my life and I intend to have him in my life until I drop dead and leave this earth.

As far as sex goes, if we do have a three way, it is usually so I can let him "be a top". Sparky is versatile and I am a strict top so sometimes he wants to pound some ass- he is really good at it too...and to be fair to him I let him do his thing.

Plus he says I give the "best head he has ever had" (that's me blowing Sparky with my dirty yard work hat on... LOL)

Since its all out in the open there is no need for jealousy.

I just feel like I am paying attention to his needs. I feel like when partners do not do that- or balk at three ways or bringing another into the bedroom... that heightens the risk of one or the other having one of those nasty, sex-based affairs that usually tear people apart.

Now this is not to say that we do this every weekend.

The extra stuff is few and far between. I am satisfied watching him fuck the hell out of a guy because I am a big time voyeur and it's hot watching my man do his thing.

This arrangement may not work for every couple but it has worked for us.

So there is a brief glimpse into my sex life at home and what I like.

So the next time you all hears any garbage about me being so desperate to have to spend hours a day, preparing blog posts just in the hopes of getting a porn star in bed tell them they are out of their minds and send them here.

I have a great man in my life that I wouldn't trade for the world.

He satisfies me in and out of bed and Chucky is not one to throw away something that is good in his life!

Cheers!
